LACTIC ACID - TASTY, HEALTHY

This article is devoted to a very interesting substance that is produced in our body, or is supplied from the outside - in food or cosmetics.

Anyway - it is a substance that takes care of our good condition and youthful appearance, it improves brain functions, brightens and moisturizes the skin, and even gives light hair a platinum shade.

We’re talking about lactic acid. It can be found in cells of the brain, liver, heart and muscle tissue. It is formed as a by-product of glucose breakdown and plays a significant role in the human body - it takes part in important metabolic processes, affects functioning of muscles, nervous system and brain. In addition, the concentration of lactic acid in body determines the quality of carbohydrate metabolism and the level of oxygen saturation of the tissues.

Furthermore, lactic acid has a positive effect on the condition and appearance of all skin types, which is the reason why cosmetic companies are willing to introduce cosmetics with lactic acid - moisturizing lotions, creams smoothing out mimic wrinkles, lightening freckles or creams for callous heels. We also value lactic acid for its keratoplastic effect (softens the stratum corneum), and in higher concentrations, keratolytic (exfoliates callous epidermis).

That is why we have decided to introduce plasters for corns, containing lactic acid. Lactic acid completes the action of salicylic acid, saponins, terpenes and kopaiwa lotion, which in turn allows easier and faster removal of corns.

The mechanism of the action of the plaster is quite simple - by wearing the plaster for a long time and cutting-off the air, the skin becomes softer, and water is accumulated in creatine. Thanks to this process, the corn - which is a callous conglomerate of cells - softens and is easy to remove.

Generally, Comfort Corn plasters with salicylic acid and lactic acid are designed to protect against painful pressure of skin lesions, against abrasions, and help in the effective and safe removal of corns.
